We have talked a lot about which 9 riders Bjarne will choose for his TDF team this year. The most of us pretty much agree on 7-8 riders which are almost certain for the TDF team.
But...I was just wondering...could it be the case, that Riis has some kind of "rabbit" up his sleeve...could it be that one of the youngsters are pointed out for a spot on the team???
Perhaps it�s a far out thought but what about Schleck or perhaps even Vandborg. The last is a very strong specialist in the TT and he could be valuable in the ITT in which we all now Riis would love to win!
Is this too far out?...

And we all remember the year of 1996... the year where L�����tenberger and Ullrich rode the TDF for the first time, and no one could understand why Ullrich should get the last spot on his team, instead og Meinert ....

I hope we will se some of the youngsters in the tour.. But the team has a lot of unexperienced riders for the vuelta, and a rider like Schleck would be very interesting to see in the tour... But I also think that riis will chose the more experienced riders.. But maybe next year... One year has to be the first ! |

I think Bjarne is chosing experienced rider and if any youngster is gonna ride it must be Schleck! He is best rider of the youngsters and also most allround. |
