|Basso and Bartoli Leads CSC at Fléche Wallonne
In Wednesday's tough Belgian race, La Fléche Wallone, Team CSC looks to the Italian duo Ivan Basso and Michele Bartoli for a good result.
"We gave Basso a rest in Amstel Gold Race, as he wanted to participate in Tour de Romandie instead," Team CSC sports director Kim Andersen explains.
Carlos Sastre is also back in the line-up, but the Spanish climber is still a fair bit from being at his best.
"He's improving all the time, but due to his injury plagued pre-season, he probably won't peak until just before the Tour," says Kim Andersen.
As usual the race finishes at the top of the Mur de Huy. The famous "wall" rises 130m in 1.3km, and contains some extremely steep (higher than 15%) sections.
